Truly exciting! This book is fantastic to read and contains themes that are more relevant today than when it was first published back in 1960. Vulcan 3 - the supreme computer, autonomous, able to rebuild itself, to expand...A machine obeyed by all, but understood by a very few. A machine whose cold, dispassionate logic has freed the world from war and poverty. When Vulcan appears to ignore all questions concerning the Healers - a fanatical group dedicated to the computer's destruction - Director William Barris becomes suspicious.
