Reader's note

Add two lovely vintage editions of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway & A Haunted House. Virginia Woolf was one of the first authors to use a stream of consciousness as a narrative device. Mrs Dalloway was created from two short stories, "Mrs Dalloway in Bond Street" and the unfinished "The Prime Minister", and follow the protagonist, Clarissa Dalloway, who is a fictional high-society woman in post First World War England. It is one of Woolf's best-known novels. Woolf struggled with mental health her whole life and was institutionalized many times. In 1941, at age 59, Woolf died by drowning herself in the River Ouse at Lewes. Since her death her popularity has only grown and she is now regarded as one of the innovative female writers in English history.
