“I wish I could have a little garden and grow potatoes”
This is a lovely little edition of Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Pigling Bland. It tells the sweet story of Pigling Bland and his friend Alexander who get sent to the market, but gets separated. Pigling Bland ends up getting taken in by a seemingly friendly farmer...but he seems to have an ulterior motive and when Pigling Bland meets a beautiful black Berkshire sow named Pig-wig, he suggests they run away so that they won't be sold, or worse, eaten. A wonderful addition to any Beatrix Potter collection.
