This lovely beige collection of The Penguin Poets includes the titles D. H. Lawrence, John Donne, C. Day Lewis. David Herbert Lawrence was an English writer and poet. His collected works represent, among other things, an extended reflection upon the dehumanising effects of modernity and industrialisation. John Donne was an English poet, scholar, soldier and secretary born into a recusant family, who later became a cleric in the Church of England. C. Day Lewis was an Anglo-Irish poet and Poet Laureate from 1968 until his death in 1972. He also wrote mystery stories under the pseudonym of Nicholas Blake. These brilliant vintage books will add a touch of sophistication to your bookshelf!
