Reader's note

A lovely vintage edition of the classic Ed McBain. Muggers snatch bags. This mugger wore sun-glasses; he was vicious, too. Near the smashed corpse of pretty 17 year old Jeannie Page they found a smashed pair of sun-glasses and the hunt hotted up. While Detective Hal Willis sieved the underworld, Patrolman Bert Kling set up a private inquiry and got warned off by two comics from Homicide North. But it was Kling who suddenly snapped home the missing piece. Just one of the many antique, rare and obscure books available on our online vintage bookstore.
