Reader's note

The Archers of Ambridge - Over the Atlantic a strong west wind was saving the petrol and the engines, so that the crew and the thirty passengers of the aircraft could whisper and be heard above the muted throb of power. Almost unnoticed by the dozing passengers, the night had faded and black had turned to grey. They were moving into the dawn as they flew towards England. Below them was a ship, and seamen on watch noted the passage of the plane for the few moments in was overhead. This vintage book would make a delightful addition to any home collections!
