Beautiful and well loved, this excellent vintage book is a fine addition to any classics library. While this collection of stories will enthral any reader of any age, it cannot be bettered as a Prize Volume for it opens up a new world of adventure for eager minds covering many lands, many moods, many interests and many surprises. This volume, celebrating the 100 year anniversary of his birth does full justice to huis astonishing versatility. It contains science fiction, mystery and adventure, horror and of course the most famous of all Sir Arthur's creations - detective Sherlock Holmes! Great Stories is a book that anyone will want to read over and over.
