Reader's note

This excellent book with a dark blue jacket, contains two fabulous detective novels in one! Maigret is one of the most famous detectives in fiction and he barely needs any introduction. A sympathetic figure, addicted to pipe smoking and occasional warming tots, and placidly devoted to his solicitous wife, he solves his problems not by magical intuition, but by using shrewd common sense and a capacity for taking infinite pains. Maigret Right and Wrong contains two of his best adventures - Maigret in Montmartre and Maigret's Mistake. Either of the stories showcases Maigret at his best! A great addition to any home library.
