Reader's note

This rare antique jewel is fantastic addition to any home library. With its decorative tooled leather spine and cover details, this title isn't one to be overlooked! Our first chapter begins and it is called 'The Experiment' - 'I am sorry to turn you to the right-about again, sergeant,' the sergeant-major explained, 'but the station master at the south-western has sent word that a batch of recruits arrived from the north by the midnight mail, and from his account they must be a bright sample. I don't know what they have done, but the station-master says he has them safely locked up in the porter's room, and asks for an armed party to fetch them to the barracks. - this short statement raises so many questions! If you know someone who is interested in military history, purchase this beautiful old book for them today.
