Reader's note

Add a dash of blue to your vintage reference library with this excellent Pelican book. This study was reprinted four times in the original German. It contains a comprehensive analysis of the hidden causes of everyday errors, and shows a penetrating insight into complex human behaviour, explained in terms readily grasped by the lay mind. The Observer writes - This book is a symptom of a welcome tendency in the study of psychopathology, and provides from one point of view, a very desirable reaction from the methods of Lombroso, Kraft-Ebling and similar writers. - although many disagree with Freud's theories today, they are a truly fascinating read and are a piece of human historical knowledge.
