This lovely green edition of P. G. Wodehouse’s Leave It To Psmith is the fourth book in the Psmith series, first published in 1923. This humorous novel tells the story of the protagonist, Ronald Psmith (the ‘p’ is silent) who is always willing to help a damsel in distress. So when Eve Halliday is caught in a rainstorm without an umbrella, Psmith is quick to offer her one. Psmith is so besotted with Eve that, when Lord Emsworth, her new boss, mistakes him for Ralston McTodd, a poet, Psmith pretends to be him so he can make his way to Blandings Castle and woo her. A thus begins the farce….
