This is a lovely vintage edition of Little Men. It is the third book in Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women series and tells the story of Jo March, now Jo Bhaer, and her two sons (and twelve rescued orphan boys filling the informal school at Plumfield). The scrapes and adventures never stop for these boys, despite the help from the entire March family. Left a large estate at Plumfield by her aunt, she decides to run the house that goes with it as a boarding school for boys. Her husband Frederich Bhaer is well in the scheme too and from the moment Plumfield School is open there is full for all concerned.
