A pretty, pink and patterned edition of Kashmir! This book was published in 1917 and is described by Sir Francis Younghusband. 'All the country has been blanketed with snow; the hill-sides forested with thousands of Christmas trees glistening in the brilliant sunshine, and the frozen road has been rattling under the ponies' feet. When gradually the narrow valley opened out. The enclosing hills widened apart. The river from a rushing torrent became as placid as the Thames, with numerous long-prowled boats gliding smoothly downward...'
