Reader's note

This is the last but not the least of the four world-famous stories of the March family. It tells how the three surviving March sisters fare in later life, and follows the fortunes of the boys and girls who grew up in the benevolent home-school established by Mrs Jo and husband. Plumfield is now a prosperous and busy little world with a fine college, but it is still the centre of the affections of the many young people, whose early lives are entwined with it. So here you meet again - and for the last time- Meg, Jo and Amy, their husbands, their friends and their children, to whose upbringing so much love, labour and prayer were devoted. This timeless classic is a great addition to any library!
