Reader's note

Baby blue with elegant black writing for the title and a spine to match. This lovely edition of Jane Austen's Persuasion is a great addition to your collection. Miss Austen's works are all well known for characters that the reader can fall in love with. What do we all think of Lady Russell who is introduced in Chapter 2 - Lady Russell was most anxiously zealous on the subject, and gave it much serious consideration. She was a woman rather of sound than of quick abilities, whose difficulties in coming to any decision in this instance were great, from the opposition of two leading principles. She was of strict integrity herself, with a delicate sense of honour. - a character to be respected in every sense of the word. Certainly a favourite of this reader! This book is a real treat in every sense of the word.
