Reader's note

Add this pretty and pink 1967 edition of Emma by Jane Austen to your bookshelf! This classic novel is full of hopeful romance as the titular character tries to matchmake her acquaintances. She does not try to do the same for herself however, expressing, “Were I to fall in love, indeed, it would be a different thing; but I have never been in love ; it is not my way, or my nature; and I do not think I ever shall.” See if this remains true by the end of the novel! This lovely edition has illustrations by Hugh Thomson and would make a delightful gift for any Austen fan!
