Reader's note

This wonderful old book is a must read for any fan of Jane Austen and is an excellent addition to any reference library! Jane Austen's novels record the education not only of her heroines but of other characters as well. In this book Mr Devlin examines what Jane Austen considered education to be and how she thought it could be achieved. The author goes on to examine some of the moral assumptions behind Miss Austen's work and which support her views of education. This title is a fascinating look at history with a literary twist, purchase today and learn something new about the regency era.
