Reader's note

Bound in sumptuous brown leather with gold detailing on the spines, this set of H. G. Well’s work would make a glorious statement in any room of the house! The numerous but incomplete set includes such titles as The History of Mr Polly, and The First Men in the Moon. Officially titled as The Collected Essex Edition of the Works of H. G. Wells, dated from 1927, this set measures 28cm/11” in length, and each volume is 18cm/7” high.
