Reader's note

A wonderful copy of The Professor, Tales from Angria, Poems etc. in a dark blue leather-bound cover. This delightful book contains a selection of writings primarily by Charlotte Brontë including The Professor, her first novel. It is the story of William Crimsworth who jumps from occupation to occupation before becoming a professor at a boarding school in Belgium. Things are complicated though with the local headmistress and a young teacher-in-training, this is a novel of romance and jealousy. Also included Tales from Angria (a collection of childhood writings), Emma (an unfinished work) and poetry from all three Brontë sisters.
