Reader's note

This beautiful trio of books would make an excellent gift for any fan of fantasy stories and children's classics. Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales are a collection of classic stories known for their imaginative plots, rich symbolism, and moral lessons. While often marketed to children, they feature complex themes like self-discovery, sacrifice, and resilience, sometimes with poignant or tragic endings. Through the Looking-Glass is a sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland in which Alice steps through a mirror into a world where everything is reversed and operates on a giant chessboard. The Horse and His Boy is a story about Shasta, a boy who escapes his life of servitude in the land of Calormen with Bree, a talking Narnian horse. Their journey to freedom leads them to uncover a sinister plot.
