Reader's note

A lovely vintage edition of the classic cooking book. Of the making of the cookery book there is no end, but here we have one which is different. In this book each of the separate branches of cooking - soups, fish meat, sweets - is preceded by a short introduction in which the main general principles applying to that branch are fully explained. There is, in fact, a short cookery lesson in reference to each section. This addition will be appreciated by all who have wrestled with the more usual collection of recipes. The perfect gift for all lovers of classic cooking books.
