Reader's note

This lovely vintage book with stylish black and red spine detailing and lively covers, will look wonderful in your home library. As the introduction by David Hughes states - It is hard to write about Hemingway without thinking like Hemingway. He is very infectious. When you read him your mind begins to work in his rhythms and to throw out all the adverbs and to cut out every verbal flourish in favour of plain pictorial narrative that states its own case. But he is also inimitable. No writer ever worked harder to keep himself out of his stories, yet no style bears more of the stamp of its author. - words that ring true for anyone who has read Hemingway before. Containing 26 of his short stories and illustrated throughout the text, this title is a great read for any fan of classic literature.
