Reader's note

Enjoy another piece of classic literary history with this excellent, vintage book by Daphne du Maurier! This title oozes atmosphere from beginning to end as our unnamed narrator describes her dreams - As I stood there, I could swear that the house was not an empty shell, but lived and breathed as it had 20 lived before. Light came from the windows, the curtains blew softly in the night air, and there, in the library, the door stood half open as we had left it, with my handkerchief on the table beside the bowl of autumn flowers - spine chilling and beautiful, this bold red edition from publisher Reader's Digest is not one to be missed!
