Reader's note

With decorative brown boards, this beautiful antique edition of Charles Dickens' Bleak House is a fantastic addition to your library. Bleak House is the story of the Jarndyce family, who wait in vain to inherit money from a disputed fortune in the settlement of the extremely long-running lawsuit of Jarndyce and Jarndyce. As the book says - “There were two classes of charitable people: one, the people who did a little and made a great deal of noise; the other, the people who did a great deal and made no noise at all.” - Charles Dickens' works are famous for the social commentary of the time. See if it still runs true today and add this excellent old book to your collection.
