Reader's note

Add this excellent antiquarian book to your collection today! Think of the natural world in a new way as author Rev. J. G. Woods explains. - There is great beauty even with a superficial examination. The movements of the snake are most graceful and the changing colours of its varied scales leave the imitations of art far behind. The spiders too are beautiful, even in colour; some are bright crimson, some pale pink, some entirely yellow, some banded with broad streaks of alternatively velvety black and silvery white; while the eye of the toad is a living gem of beauty - the contents of this book are as vibrant inside as the decorative gold and blue of the outside! No reference library is truly complete without a treasure like this one!
