Reader's note

Add a splash of red to your reference library with this lovely old book! This book described variously by the author as a Child's Guide to Politics, Primer of Citizenship, Rudiments of Rulership, the the final fruit of his political experience, which began seriously with his plunge into socialism many years ago. He disclaims all novelty for it; but in fact there is always enough novelty in his idiosyncratic approach to its several subjects, and in his conclusions, to make it advisable for the oldest parliamentary hands to read it as attentively as the novices to whom it is specifically addressed. Whether you agree with his opinions or not, this book is a fascinating read for anybody interested in the history of politics.
