Reader's note

Add this wonderful old book to your collection today! Wonderful to look at with exquisite gold detailing on a navy blue background, this antique poetry book is a joy from start to finish. Containing verses from the likes of Byron, Shelley, Sotheby and Wordsworth, you are bound to find your favourites here and also discover something new. The following stanza is ttaken from 'The Cloud' by Shelley - I bring fresh showers for the thirsting flowers, From the seas and the streams; I bear light shade for the leaves when laid, In their noonday dreams. From my wings are shaken the dews that waken, The sweet buds every one, When rocked to rest on their mother's breast, As she dances about the sun. I wield the flail of the lashing hail, And whiten the green plains under, And then again I dissolve it in rain, And laugh as I pass in thunder. - words that conjur up so much imagery in the mind! A great addition to any home library.
