Reader's note

Rudyard Kipling drew on his own experiences for his writing, and in a surprising reverse, this wonderful book is a collection of essays and biographies written about this esteemed author. Irvine S. Cobb writes about his meeting - It didn't take me two minutes in that walk through the garden, up to the house, to find out that in spite of his great work, and his experience, he feels a tremendous enthusiasm about everything that it worthwhile. He's not a bit blase, he isn't Englishy English, but is a cosmopolitan in the real meaning of the word. And the little details of life in general and in nature attract him surprisingly. - interesting to read about a person in this way! Find out if others thought the same. This lovely old book is the perfect literary gift for any fan of Rudyard Kipling and a fantastic addition to any home library.
