Reader's note

A wonderful copy of Aldous Huxley’s After Many a Summer, from esteemed publisher Chatto & Windus. Like his other works, in this story, Huxley, casts a critical eye over society in a dark, satirical fashion. Specifically, he target’s the culture of Hollywood, with its shallowness and obsession with youth. American millionaire, Jo Stoyte, works with his personal physician to prolong his lifespan indefinitely. An interesting story that still deserves your attention, with it's brown cover and green writing on the spine, this is a fabulous vintage book that will add a real touch of clas to your library.
