Reader's note

This beautiful book from Methuen is a convenient volme for any fan of A.A.Milne! Every item and verse in this book has previously been published in 'Punch' magazine and they are all together in this single volume! Each and every one is filled with the great humour that A.A. Milne is so famous for! In this excerpt, he talks of sleep - I am like Napoleon in that I can go to sleep at any moment; I am unlike him (I believe) in that I am always doing so. One makes no apology for doing so on a Sunday afternoon - the apology, indeed should come from the others, the wakeful parties. - full of charm and fun, this unforgettable book is the jewel of any bookshelf!
