The Chronicles of Narnia

Who could forget C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia? These classic children's books form a seven-book saga that remains fondly remembered and widely read across the globe today. Featuring classic and loveable characters (we're looking at you Aslan), as well as cruel and cunning villains in a fantastical world, it would be a crime not to include this entire work on our list. A Christmas Carol

With Christmas waiting around the corner, we simply couldn't finish this list without Charles Dickens' festive classic. While evil may be a strong word to describe the miserable Ebenezer Scrooge, he is certainly an unpleasant, unfriendly, and downright rotten character. That's why this story shines so much; through seeing the errors in his ways through paranormal means, even a character like Scrooge (whose own name now serves as a descriptive word for a party pooper) can find love in their heart eventually. A story with a joyful end to warm the soul - just like this list!
