The narrator of most of the tale is Anne Beddingfeld, a Professor of Anthropology’s attractive and enterprising daughter, who witnesses a fatal accident at a London Tube Station and is quick to notice some curious features about a man in a brown suit who says he is a doctor. Agatha Christie has written between fifty and sixty detective stories. Her technique is superb; she never cheats, though she admits that she sometimes says ‘things that can be taken two ways’. The wife of a distinguished archaeologist, she assists him in his excavations in Iraq, where he has made remarkable discoveries. She lives mainly in South Devon.","brand":"Country House Library","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":40114204475479,"sku":"8650394","price":9.79,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/2458\/8207\/products\/orig_250578_jpg.jpg?v=1675875617","url":"https:\/\/countryhouselibrary.co.uk\/products\/the-man-in-the-brown-suit-by-agatha-christie-pan-books-1956","provider":"Country House Library ","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
