Reader's note

Robin redbreast had never heard of Christmas until he lost his house. Robin’s house was a fir tree in a little wood which bordered a garden, and he had lived in it since leaving the family nest in the spring. When autumn winds blew the leaves away, Robin’s fir tree remained green as in summer time, much to the envy of some unlucky birds, who were left sitting on bare branches. This charming vintage childrens book is delightfully illustrated and would make a wonderful addition to anyone's winter collection!
