Reader's note

Kent is a county which demands to be seen anew. Changes there have been in recent years, not least those caused by an ever-increasing volume of motor traffic, but the essential Kent happily remains inviolate. As well as being a county of fine buildings and find landscape, Kent has been the scene of much history just as it has been the home of a line of famous people! This book contains excellent and dramatic, black and white photographs throughout. These compliment the author's love for the area. A real vintage gem!
