It's been over a century since H.G. Wells gave us The War of The Worlds, one of the most powerful science-fiction novels ever written, and truly ahead of its time. This is further reflected through the panic that was allegedly caused during its 1938 radio broadcast, causing members of the public to genuinely believe that we were under attack from martians. Now that's storytelling.

To celebrate his legacy, we're running a competition from August 13th to September 21st - the date he passed, to the date of his birthday. For your chance to win a vintage H.G. Wells hardback containing some of his most influential and well-known stories (including but not limited to The War of the Worlds, The Invisible Man, and The Time Machine), simply take the quiz at the bottom of the page and follow the link below to share your result:

The lucky winner will be announced on September 21st, so keep your eyes peeled! Now what are you waiting for? Get stuck in and see how you would fair against the enemy from beyond the skies...
